
BlackFin acquires GP3 and Decalog
BlackFin Capital Partners has acquired GP3 and Decalog, two software solutions divisions for the asset management and asset servicing industry, from SunGard.
Blackfin Capital Partners will merge GP3 and Decalog into a new entity called NeoXam following the deal.
Newco NeoXam will employ around 250 people (with 150 based in Western Europe) and generate a consolidated turnover of close to $50m. Blackfin plans to invest in the international growth of the company.
Based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, SunGard provides software and services to education, financial services, and public sector organisations.

GP3 is a fund accounting, valuation and reporting software, while Decalog is a middle-office, front-office and compliance software. The company's customers include asset managers and fund administrators in Europe, China, South Africa and the US.
