Finatem

Robert Hennigs, former managing director of DZ Equity Partner, the private equity arm of DZ Bank, has joined Finatem. He has over 10 years experience in the German mid-cap private equity business and was responsible for two deals in which DZ Equity Partner co-invested with Finatem. He was also responsible for the development of private equity dealflow from DZ Bank's network of co-operative banks. At Finatem, Hennigs will seek to develop the firm's proprietary dealflow. As part of this effort, DZ Bank has agreed to give Finatem first right of refusal on opportunities arising from the DZ co-operative banking network that meet Finatem's investment strategy. The announcement comes shortly after Finatem held first closing of its second fund with commitments of E74m.
