Auctus closes third fund on €155m
Auctus Capital Partners has closed its latest fund Auctus III at a revised hard-cap of €155m following a substantial over-subscription.
The German small-cap investor attracted high interest, which led to a short fundraising period of only five months. Auctus III received commitments from insurers, pension funds, funds-of-funds, endowments and family offices.
The third fund's investment strategy is in line with that of its predecessors, looking to take controlling stakes in small- and medium-sized companies in Germany, Switzerland and Austria with revenues of €10-100m.
Auctus III has already made two investments in recycling business Noventiz and German dental laboratory business Flemming.
