Iris Capital and Capnamic Ventures join forces
Iris Capital and Capnamic Ventures have entered into a partnership agreement to make early-stage investments in Germany.
OP Ventures Early Stage, the Iris vehicle, will co-invest alongside the newly launched Capnamic Ventures Fund, focusing on fast growing German digital start-ups.
The cooperation may also extend to later-stage investments in Germany.
The two teams will cooperate closely in order to gain from their combined technical and business knowledge for investment decisions and portfolio management.
In combining their efforts, they will also offer a broader international development perspective to their respective portfolio companies, benefiting in particular from Iris's presence in North America, Asia and the Middle East.
Iris is backed by its main corporate investor LPs Orange and Publicis. Capnamic recently spun off from the DuMont Schauberg media group.
