Steadfast Capital hires three

Steadfast Capital has expanded its investment team by recruiting Friedrich Ysenburg, Tim Ottenbreit and Sandra Stohler.
Ysenburg (pictured) took up his position as an investment associate at Steadfast on 1 May. He previously worked at Ernst & Young for three years, with duties including transaction services, valuation, business modelling and financial due diligence.
Ottenbreit joined Steadfast's team in February as an investment associate, a role that will see him analysing, structuring and processing transactions. Prior to joining Steadfast, Ottenbreit spent almost three years at KPMG in risk consulting and transaction services.
Stohler joined Steadfast in March. Her responsibilities at the firm involve supporting the investment team through fundraising and investor relations. Prior to taking up this position, Stohler had worked as a placement agent at Palomar Private Equity in Zurich and Cygns Capital Partners in London.
Steadfast Capital was established in 2001 as BHF Private Equity, and rebranded in 2005. The Frankfurt-based GP focuses mainly on management buyouts in the mid-cap sector of German-speaking Europe. The firm's most recent fund, Steadfast Capital III, was launched in March 2011 with a target of €250m. It held its first close in June 2011 at €104m and an interim close in September 2012 at €128m.
