Target leads Trecker’s €2.1m series-A
Target Partners has led a €2.1m series-A funding round for software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform Trecker.
The cash injection will be used for further development of the platform and expansion of the company in the German-speaking region. New hires will also be made in the sales department and the management team.
Target has several SaaS providers in its portfolio. Earlier this year, Target and Swedish VC Zobito injected €4m into payments platform Treasury Intelligence Solutions. It took on social media management SaaS platform Falcon Social in August last year, leading a €6m funding round for the Danish company. And the investor committed to two Hetras funding rounds in 2009 and 2011.
Company
Founded in 2012, Berlin-headquartered Trecker provides business software for agricultural companies. The platform and mobile app can be used to plan, record, monitor and invoice the deployment of machinery and staff. Employees are sent their assignments via the app, which also logs data such as hours and acreage worked. Farmers and agricultural contractors can also use it to meet documentation requirements in the sector. The company has around 50 clients.
