Waterland invests in Premium Exhibitions
Waterland Private Equity has acquired a stake in international fashion trade show organiser Premium Exhibitions from previous owner Norbert Tillmann.
Norbert Tillman was one of three owners of the business alongside Anita Tillmann and Florian Bachelin, all of whom held an equal stake in the business.
The latter two initially bought out Norbert Tillmann before selling the stake in the holding company to Waterland. Both Anita Tillmann and Bachelin retained their original stakes and will continue as the company's managing directors.
Waterland, which completed the deal using its fifth fund, stated it is targeting the leisure and luxury markets due to strong global growth. Waterland Private Equity Fund V closed on €1.1bn in July 2011.
