
Lakestar et al. back Helpling’s €43m series-B
Lakestar, Kite Ventures and Mangrove Capital Partners have invested €43m in Berlin-based cleaning services app Helpling.
Business angel Lukasz Gadowski and start-up incubator Rocket Internet also participated in the funding round.
The fresh capital will be used to strengthen Helpling's presence in the countries in which it already operates.
Previous funding
Mangrove, Phenomen Ventures and Point Nine Capital injected €13.5m into Rocket Internet-backed Helpling in December 2014.
Company
Founded in March 2014, Helpling allows customers to book professional cleaners online or via a mobile app. The company is now active in 200 cities globally and claims to have sent cleaners to 50,000 households. Helpling employs 250 people.
