
Waterland-backed Hanse-Orga buys Tembit
Private equity house Waterland's portfolio company Hanse-Orga has agreed to acquire cloud and mobile payment application developer Tembit.
The transaction will be the third acquisition Hanse-Orga has made in a week after the purchase of Dolphin Enterprise Solutions and e5 Solutions Group.
The founders of Tembit will retain a stake in the overall group and the current management team will remain in place.
Hanse-Orga now employs 500 people in 13 locations globally. With the acquisition of Tembit, it aims to expand its range of financial software both in the cloud and on-premises. The company now supports 2,000 businesses with financial and enterprise resource planning systems and software.

Tembit Software develops mobile and cloud-based payment applications for companies in the financial and corporate sectors. The company is based in Berlin with offices in Vienna, and was founded more than 20 years ago.
