Naxicap's Alwitra to acquire Poland-based CB
Flat roofing company Alwitra, a portfolio company of Naxicap Partners, is to acquire Poland-based roofing materials business CB, according to a filing with the German competition authority.
The filing is dated 9 October 2020 and states that Alwitra is to acquire a controlling stake in CB.
Naxicap acquired Alwitra in November 2019. The business had been marketed by sell-side adviser Industrie Consult based on EBITDA of €12m. It reports revenues of around €80m and employed 300 people at the time of Naxicap's investment. OLB, LBBW and Unicredit provided debt to back the buyout.
At the time of the acquisition, Naxicap said in a statement that it intended to assist with the company's international growth, including via a partnership with French market peer Onduline.
Company
CB produces and distributes building materials for use in roofing. It operates under the brands Corotop, Rednet and Secco. The company is based in Chrząstowice and was founded in 1995. According to its website, the business generates revenues of €50m and employs 200 people.
