Main Capital creates software group enventa after four DACH deals
Software-focused sponsor Main Capital is launching an ERP, business intelligence and financial solutions platform following the acquisition of four businesses in the DACH region.
Enventa, as the group is being called, will combine Nissen & Velten, texdata, aruba, and Litreca and have combined revenues of EUR 25m.
Following the transaction, the senior management and founders of the four businesses will remain with the group. According to a press release, they have all either invested or reinvested in enventa.
With the support of Main, enventa will execute a buy and build strategy, diversification through cross-selling, and seek to achieve sustainable growth business models.
Sven van Berge, head of Main's DACH activities, told Unquote that the sponsor has a 90% stake in the business. All four businesses had no investors and were bought from either management or the founders. "The companies were acquired separately in the last three months and were all proprietary deals. However, Litreca was purchased via a small process."
Main invested through Main Capital VII, which was launched in July 2021 and held a final close at its EUR 2bn hard-cap in October 2021. The vehicle invests in software companies based in Europe with enterprise values of EUR 25m-250m, according to Unquote Data. Van Berge said the vehicle will be announcing new platform deals in the coming weeks.
