
Project A backs auto parts retailer kfzteile24
Project A Ventures has invested a seven-digit sum in EQT-owned kfzteile24, a German online retailer for automotive spare parts.
The VC plans to work with the company on an operational level in order to improve performance marketing, customer relations management, business intelligence, product management and IT.
It is the second online shop Project A has backed this month. At the beginning of March, the VC committed to an eight-digit funding round for online pet food shop Pets Deli.
Previous funding
EQT acquired a majority stake in kfzteile24 from the company's founders in October 2015.

Founded in 2001 and based in Berlin, kfzteile24 is an online retailer for automotive spare parts and accessories. In addition to its online shop, the company has three retail stores with affiliated repair shops in Berlin. It had revenues of €130m in 2015 and employs 500 staff.
