
Canopia appoints Blandin to investment team

Canopia Capital Partners has appointed Xavier Blandin to its investment team and advisory board.
Blandin's appointment comes as Canopia, headquartered in Paris and managing a second office in New York, aims to expand its team with experienced senior profiles.
The new joiner has 35 years of experience in the civil service and investment banking sectors. As part of his new role, he will give senior advice on the firm's strategic development and on investments within in the private equity market.
Blandin was formerly member of the executive committee at BNP Paribas Corporate Finance, where he held a senior banking role, developing relationships with large French and European corporates. He also served as managing director of Paribas Capital Markets, in addition to holding various positions within France's treasury department and being director for France on the IMF board.
