Idinvest hires Steil as senior legal adviser

Prior to joining Idinvest, Steil worked at Jones Day as a senior associate in the fund formation department between 2012-2017. Before that, she held the position of lawyer at several companies including DFI Advocat, STC Partners and Jeantet between 2010-2012. She also did a six-month assignment with French financial markets authority AMF in 2009.

Steil will be involved in the legal and tax structuring of venture capital mutual funds and companies (typically FPCI, FPS, SLP, SCR, and all other types of alternative investment funds), auditing funds on behalf of potential investors, and negotiating with LPs and GPs with respect to the documentation of the funds and the carried interest of the management team.
