Sopromec invests €300,000 in Alterpro Energie
French venture firm Sopromec has provided alternative energy company Alterpro Energie with €300,000 of funding.
The company will use the funds to develop its IT systems and strengthen its organisation, in order to face increased market activity.
Founded in 2006, Alterpro Energie installs photovoltaic panels. Users can then sell the energy produced to France's main electricity provider, EDF. Based in Toulouse, the company employs six people and has grown tenfold for the last three years, anticipating a €4m turnover for 2010.
