
CDC Entreprises et al. invest $10.5m in DelfMems
CDC Enterprises, Iris Capital, Vives, Capitalaria and other investors have provided French technology company DelfMems with a $10.5m series-B round of funding.
The FSN PME, launched last year by the French government and managed by CDC Enterprises, contributed $4.5m to the round. The investment brings the total funding raised by the company to $17m.
The fresh capital will be used to develop the industrialisation of DelfMems' products. The company is aiming to grow in the market for next generation wireless front-end modules for mobile devices like smart phones and tablets.

Founded at the end of 2005 as a spin-off from CNRS, DelfMems is based in Lille. The company conducts research, development, production and commercialisation of RF Mems-based solutions for the RF microrelay and switch market. DelfMems is a member of the Mems Industry Group and the IWPC consortium.

Frédéric Le Brun is an investment director at CDC. Olivier Millet is the founder of DelfMems. Guillaume d'Eyssautier was recently appointed as CEO of the business.
