Idinvest backs Bimedia
Idinvest Partners has invested in Bimedia, backed by Omnes Capital since 2015, according to an announcement from the competition authority.
Idinvest and Omnes did not wish to comment on the transaction.
Omnes acquired around 60% of Bimedia in 2015. The GP used its €210m Omnes Croissance IV fund for the transaction. Enterprise value for Bimedia was not revealed, but sources close to the transaction confirmed it fell within the €20-50m region.
At the time, Idinvest supported the buyout with a unitranche facility.
The transaction in 2015 saw founders Jean-Baptiste Pondevy, Dominique Chabot and Antoine Lacoste retain 30% of the business. The company's management team invested alongside the firms in return for a stake of around 5%.
