Pantheon sells secondary stakes in IK funds
Pantheon has sold its stakes in IK Investment Partner funds Industri Kapital 2004 and 2007 to Blackstone-backed secondaries vehicle Strategic Partners VI Investments.
The sale consisted of around 10% of Pantheon's investment in IK 2004 and less than 5% of IK 2007, according to a source. The divestments were two further secondary holdings in the funds made by Pantheon in the past five years.
The fund-of-funds manager will remain as an LP in both the €825m IK 2004 and €1.675bn IK 2007 funds following the sale. Pantheon originally joined the funds as an LP during the initial fundraising for the vehicles.
Industri Kapital 2004 is nearing full divestment, with only healthcare provider Attendo and rail freight buffer manufacturer Axtone remaining in its portfolio.
The fund's current performance is showing around a 2.4x multiple with a gross IRR of 49%, a source confirmed.
