Mimir Invest appoints senior operations director
Stockholm-based private equity fund Mimir Invest has appointed Paul HolmstrУЖm as director of operations.
Holmström joins the senior management team and will lead operational due diligence. In his new role he will define and control company operational improvement and strategic oversight.
In addition to his role as director of operations at Mimir, he is also an advisory board member and investor in the US-based VC firm Lumia Capital.
Prior to starting at Mimir, Holmström was the head of strategy at Tele2, a European telecommunications operator, and a senior adviser at Arthur Little.
Nordic newcomer Mimir launched its special situations fund in February 2017. The fund can commit equity tickets of between €1-50m, with a sweetspot of €3-25m. It was launched with the intention of addressing the gap in the market for an operations-focused special situations investor.
