FSN Capital promotes Welo and Jabet to partner
Nordic private equity firm FSN Capital has promoted COO and head of investor relations Morten Welo and associate Patrice Jabet to partners.
The two appointments come as part of a slew of promotions and new hires, with FSN having also promoted Eskil Koffeld to investment manager and Kristoffer Stensholt Feet to associate. The firm also hired Niclas Thiel as investment director and Simon Larsson as associate.
Morten Welo joined FSN in 2011 as chief operating officer and head of investor relations. He joined the manager from a position as head of operations at Boston Consulting Group, where he had worked since 2002.
Before joining the financial services industry, Welo was a commander on the Norwegian monarchy's Royal Yacht as part of a 13-year career in the country's army and navy.
New partner Jabet joined as an associate from corporate finance firm Lazard in 2008, where he had been a part of the Nordic M&A advisory team based in Stockholm. Previously, he had been an analyst in Keystone Advisers' Nordic M&A advisory and private equity fundraising teams.
Eskil Koffeld, promoted to investment manager, was hired by FSN last year from Norwegian bank ABG Sundal Collier's investment banking team. Promoted to associate, Kristoffer Stensholt Feet was hired in the beginning of 2015 after graduating from Stockholm School of Economics.
New hires Niclas Thiel and Simon Larsson will join the GP in April as investment director and associate, respectively.
Thiel will join from a position as investment professional at Bain Capital's London office, with previous employments at Wallenberg family investment vehicle Investor and Nordic investment bank Carnegie.
Larsson was previously an analyst at Goldman Sachs in London and has held roles at Citi, Cinven and Nomura.
