
Verdane acquires Aggregate Media portfolio
Nordic secondaries direct investor Verdane Capital has acquired a portfolio of 10 Swedish e-commerce companies from Swedish media investment firm Aggregate Media.
The transaction marks the fourth acquisition by Verdane from Aggregate since 2006.
The investor plans on developing its new e-commerce portfolio through geographical expansion and improving the operational and sales sides of the businesses.
Companies
The portfolio of 10 e-commerce businesses acquired by Verdane comprises Cool Company, a provider of administrative services for self-employed contractors; Upplevelseakuten, a retailer of gift vouchers; online food delivery service God Smak; furniture and interior design company Confident Living; Performiq, a sport-focused recruitment agency; Marinaman, a retailer of boating accessories and clothing; lighting retailer Lysman; WatchItLive, a provider of package deals for sport and leisure trips; Protecty, a provider of protective workwear, tools and equipment; and Bemz, a provider of custom-designed covers for Ikea furniture.
The portfolio had a combined turnover of approximately SEK 200m (€22m) in 2013.
