Susanna Campbell, the CEO of listed Swedish GP Ratos, will step down on 1 July following a decision to replace her by the company’s board of directors.
Lars Johansson, Ratos
Campbell will be replaced by current investment director Lars Johansson, who will assume the role of acting CEO until a permanent successor has been found.
Ratos chair Jonas Wiström said in a statement that Ratos has been underperforming for some time and hopes a chief executive with more operational experience will help turn the GP around.
Campbell's resignation brings her 13-year career at the private equity firm to an end, having spent the last four as CEO. She will receive six month's notice period and 18 months of basic salary as her severance package.
