Herkules Capital-owned Linas Matkasse has taken a majority stake in Danish pre-packed dinner-bag business RetNemt.dk.
The transaction sees RetNemt.dk and Linas Matkasse enter into partnership, giving the Swedish business exposure to the Danish pre-packaged meal kit market.
RetNemt.dk and Linas Matkasse both expect the deal to increase their companies' growth, through continued expansion in Sweden and scaling RetNemt.dk's operations in Denmark.
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Copenhagen, RetNemt.dk is an online retailer of pre-packaged dinner kits.
The company produces kits for consumers to make a certain dish and certain number of portions at home, providing all the necessary ingredients.
RetNemt.dk claims to deliver around 30,000 meals a week in Denmark.
