Balderton leads $10m series-A for Labster
UK-based venture firm Balderton Capital has led a $10m series-A round for Copenhagen-headquartered virtual laboratory simulations provider Labster.
Existing investors, Stockholm-based VC firm Northzone and Unity Technologies founder David Helgason, also took part in the round.
Labster plans to use the capital injection to boost its expansion in the US and Europe, as well as help initiate special projects in South America, the Middle East and Africa. It intends to develop new simulations for students in chemistry, physics and medicine.

Founded in 2012, Labster develops interactive lab simulations for students and scientists. It has customers in 25 countries and is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark.
