Nordic Capital supports Cint in P2Sample acquisition
Nordic Capital has supported its portfolio company Cint in wholly acquiring US-based programmatic sampling platform operator P2Sample.
P2Sample's CEO and COO will remain in senior leadership roles in the combined entity. P2Sample will operate as a separate entity and will be integrated into Cint by the end of 2019. The company will also divest two P2Sample proprietary assets: Points2Shop and SurveyRewardz.
In 2016, Nordic Capital acquired Cint from secondaries investor Cipio Partners, Swedish VC Creandum and Prime Technology Ventures in a deal reportedly valued at SEK 1bn. The investment was made through the GP's 2012-vintage €3bn Nordic Capital Fund VIII.
Cint acquired P2Sample for its supplier relationships, programmatic access to sample supply and demand, API integrations, fraud detection capabilities and employee base.
The company reported 44% year-on-year growth for Q1 2019.
