
Polaris backs MBI of DMP Mølleservice
Polaris Private Equity has taken a majority stake in the MBI of Danish wind turbine service and maintenance provider DMP Mølleservice.
Carlos Christensen has been brought in as new CEO of DMP, replacing Poul Reinholdt who will continue as company CFO. The two will form the executive management team, together with vice president of sales Carsten Brinck. The former owners, consisting of key employees, will retain a significant minority stake in the company.

Founded in 1987, DMP Mølleservice provides wind turbine service and maintenance, gear reconditioning and sales of spare parts. Headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark, the company employs around 50 staff and generated a DKK 117m turnover in 2011.

Partner and CFO Henrik Bonnerup worked on the deal for Polaris. Carlos Christensen has been brought in as CEO of DMP.
