AXA acquires 10% of CLH Group
AXA Private Equity has acquired a 10% stake in Spain’s Compañia Logistica de Hidrocarburos, in a deal that values the oil storage and transportation firm at €3.6bn.
CLH Group, which owns and operates the largest refined oil products pipeline network in the country, was purchased from service station operator DISA Financiación SAU and Disa Peninsula SLU.
The transaction represents the first seed investment from the private equity firm's latest infrastructure fund. It follows on from AXA's investment in toll road operator Autopista Trados 45 last summer.
