Just-Eat bolts on SinDelantal.com
Just-Eat, the online takeaway ordering service backed by an investor consortium, has acquired its Spanish equivalent SinDelantal.com.
The acquisition was funded through the firm's existing balance sheet, which was heavily bolstered in April this year when Vitruvian led a $64m round for the company.
The deal will add 1,300 restaurants to Just-Eat's Spanish site. The company plans to grow its network to more than 3,000 delivery restaurants in 2013.
Company
Founded in 2010 and based in Madrid, SinDelantal.com is an online food ordering service. The firm also operates a Mexican site, miorden.com.
SinDelantal.com will now operate as part of the Just-Eat group.
