
Ticketbis raises €5.2m from Active Venture et al.
Spanish start-up Ticketbis, a ticket exchange platform, has raised a further €5.2m in a funding round led by Active Venture Partners.
The company's existing investors, including local business angels, also participated in the funding round.
Ticketbis will use the fresh capital to expand internationally with a particular focus on Asia.
The business has raised €10m in total since its foundation.

Ticketbis is an online platform for the purchase and sale of tickets to events in Europe, Latin America and Asia. The company was founded in 2009 and now operates in 31 countries. Turnover is thought to have reached €29m in the first half of 2014.
Ticketbis is based in Madrid.
