The fresh capital will be invested in the opening of new stores across Europe and the development of an e-commerce platform. Party Fiesta plans to invest €15m in order to double its number of locations to around 200 by 2018.
Capital for the transaction was reportedly drawn from Suma Capital Growth Fund, a 2013-vintage vehicle with a €100m target.
The existing owners, the Hernández family, will retain the remainder of shares in the business following completion of the deal.
