Innogest injects further $3m into Cornerjob
Italian venture capital house Innogest has injected $3m as part of a $22m series-C round for Spanish recruitment-dedicated software developer Cornerjob.
The injection adds to the initial $19m series-C raised by the business in May 2017. This included investments by venture capital firms Northzone Ventures, E.Ventures, Samaipata Ventures, Sabadell Venture Capital, Caixa Capital Risc, Randstad Innovation Fund, Media Digital Ventures, Augesco Ventures and 5M Ventures, as well as media corporates Groupe TF1, Mediaset España, Mediaset Italia and TV Azteca.
The current capital increase brings the total funding raised by the company to $57m, according to a statement.
Previous funding
In May 2016, Cornerjob raised a $10m series-A round from Bonsai Venture Capital, Antai Business Angels, Mediaset España, Banco Sabadell Capital, Cube Investments, Ithaca Investment, La Caixa Capital Risc and Media Digital Ventures.
In July that same year, Northzone and E.Ventures led a $25m series-B round for the business with a $20m equity injection. Other backers included Antai Venture Builder and Variv Capital, which provided the remaining $5m in the funding round through their portfolio company TV Azteca.

Founded in April 2015 and headquartered in Barcelona, Cornerjob has developed a job-matching app that enables users to find job offers, apply and chat with the recruiters, and get an answer within 24 hours.
The business has a presence in Italy, France, Spain and Mexico, and employs a staff of 70.
According to a statement, the company's current customers include Leroy Merlin, Domino's, Subway, McDonald's, Novotel, Best Western, Burger King, AT&T, DHL, Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria's Secret, Manpower and Geox.
