
Meridia Capital launches €125m Meridia Growth I fund
Barcelona-based investor Meridia Capital Partners has launched its first private equity vehicle, targeting €125m to invest in Spanish SMEs.
The mid-market private equity fund targets Spain-headquartered companies generating revenues in the €15-100m bracket.
Equity tickets will range between €15-35m with the aim to boost portfolio companies' growth through international expansion, operational change, market consolidation and institutionalisation, according to Meridia.
The alternative investments firm previously focused mainly on real estate, recently launching a €250m real estate fund, Meridia III.
