
Aksia creates Italian contact centre group with dual acquisition
Italian GP Aksia Group has acquired and merged contact centre companies Contacta and Visiant Contact through simultaneous management buyouts.
The deals are the first transactions the private equity firm has made with its latest vehicle, the 2013-vintage Fund Aksia Capital IV, which held a second close on €108m this week. The fund held a first close on €65m in November 2014.
A newco in which Aksia holds a 55% stake has been set up to wholly acquire Contacta and Visiant's share capital. The remaining 45% in the holding structure will be acquired by the existing shareholders of the two target companies.

Founded in 1996, Contacta is a contact centre and business process outsourcing services company headquartered in Turin.
Visiant is headquartered in Concorezzo, near Milan, and provides contact centre services within customer care, business process outsourcing and big data analysis. The company has 11 offices in Italy and one in Albania.
