Two more partners leave Linklaters for Kirkland & Ellis
David Holdsworth and Tim Lowe have joined Kirkland & Ellis’s London office, coming over from Linklaters.
Holdsworth is an equity corporate partner. After starting his career as trainee solicitor at Shepherd & Wedderburn in 1999, he joined Linklaters as associate in 2001 and became partner in 2009.
Private equity tax partner Lowe started his career as trainee solicitor at Linklaters in 2002. He became associate in 2004 and partner in 2013.
The moves follow other Linklaters/Kirkland transfers. Earlier this year, Kirkland poached Linklaters' Nordic head of private equity, Roger Johnson. Matthew Elliot, who was a partner at Linklaters for five years, joined Kirkland as corporate partner in the London office last year. His practice focuses on private equity and real estate.
