Eight Roads hires Virgin's Moorhead as chief operating officer

Moorhead began his career at Goldman Sachs's M&A and capital markets advisory team in London, where he spent eight years. In 2005, he joined Virgin's portfolio management office and more recently was appointed chief financial officer in 2011.

At Virgin he was responsible for the group's overall financial and risk positions across its portfolio, including Virgin Australia, Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Care and Virgin Rail. Since September 2015, Moorhead worked as non-executive director at Virgin Australia Holding.
