Octopus Ventures adds Zihao Xu to investment team

Xu joins from Roland Berger Strategy Consultants with six years of experience in the aerospace, defence, automotive, industrials and private equity sectors. Xu also founded sunglasses and lifestyle brand Canopy Sunglasses in 2014.

Octopus Ventures is a London- and New York-based venture capital firm, part of the Octopus group, and is focused on backing entrepreneurial businesses such as Lovefilm, graze.com, Secret Escapes, Swoon Editions and Zoopla. It recently raised an additional £100m to invest in early-stage European businesses.
