Albion Ventures rebrands as Albion Capital
Investment manager Albion Ventures has rebranded as Albion Capital to reflect the evolution of the group's strategies.
The change is due in part to the acquisition of Olim Investment Managers in September 2016, as well as the expansion of Albion's VC, renewable energy, care home and IP commercialisation businesses.
Through its combined operations, Albion Capital now invests through the entire spectrum from early-stage startups through to FTSE 100 companies.
The group has £900m in assets under management across five strategies, comprising venture capital trusts (£340m), Olim Investment Managers (£495m), UCL Technology Fund (£53m), Albion Community Power (£80m) and Albion Care Communities (£25m).
