
Equistone hires investment director for Manchester office
Equistone Partners Europe has hired Sebastien Leusch as an investment director in its Manchester office.
Leusch will work alongside senior partner Steve O'Hare and investment director Andi Tomkinson to source new investments and support the firm's existing northern portfolio.
Equistone is currently investing from its €2bn fifth fund, raised in early 2015. It was deployed at around two thirds as of July this year, according to unquote" data, with 36% of deals made in the UK. Of these transactions based in the UK, around 40% were in northern regions.
Leusch joins from Montagu Private Equity, where he worked for nine years with a focus on the north of England and the rest of Europe. He notably worked on the St Hubert deal in France and Emitel in Poland. Prior to that, he spent seven years with PwC, culminating with the position of director in the corporate finance team.
