Inflexion catches Fish Insurance
Inflexion Private Equity has acquired Preston-based Fish Insurance from Mosaic Private Equity in a secondary buyout.
The deal value has not been disclosed, but Mosaic valued the business at around £30m at the start of the sale process, which is said to have attracted trade and financial buyers alike.
Founded in 1975 by Mike Fish, the company provides coverage for disabled people, offering policies for motor insurance and cover for equipment such as motorised wheelchairs, scooters and stairlifts as well as employers' liability for those employing carers in their homes.
