
Kernel Capital invests €500,000 in FeedHenry
Kernel Capital has invested €500,000 in Waterford-based cloud solutions provider FeedHenry Limited.
The investment is part of a larger syndicated investment. However further details of the round have not been disclosed. Kernel invested via the Bank of Ireland Seed Fund.
Kernel was attracted to the deal because it believes the company has an opportunity to capitalise on the growing smartphone and tablet market. Funding will enable FeedHenry to improve operations and increase its workforce.

FeedHenry was founded in 2008 as a spin-out from Irish research institute Telecommunications and Software Services Group. The company offers a cloud platform that supports the development, deployment, integration and management of mobile apps for business and enterprise markets.
The company is headquartered in Waterford, Ireland.
