
Octopus backs second round of funding for Secret Escapes
Octopus has invested in a second round of financing for travel website Sweet Escapes.
Previous funding for the online company was provided in April 2011.
The current investment was made from the Octopus' Titan VCT fund and Octopus Venture Partners.
Company
London-based Secret Escapes was launched in January 2011 and runs flash sales of four and five-star hotels and holidays. The website is for members only and has about 750,000 users. Customers can book their holiday directly on the website.
