RSG and Notion Capital in £2.3m round for 4th Office
Slovenian venture capital firm RSG Capital has led a £2.3m round for 4th Office, a UK cloud-based workspace, alongside Notion Capital co-founder Ben White.
Notion Capital also took part in the round, having been involved in the firm's £750,000 first round of funding.
The investment will allow the business to further develop its product offering and undertake marketing activities focusing on social media and digital word-of-mouth.
The deal marks Notion's second investment in a London cloud-based platform in quick succession. In October, the VC took part in a New Enterprise Associates-led $8.2m series-A for portfolio company Move Guides, an employee mobility business.
Company
Headquartered in London and founded in 2004, 4th Office is a cloud-based workspace incorporating communication, task and document management tools. The product allows a company's employees to work remotely and is intended to reduce the reliance on email as an internal communication tool. The business stated it has 15,000 users.
People
Ben White is a partner and co-founder of Notion Capital. Jure Mikuz is founder of RSG. Bostjan Bregar is co-founder and CEO of 4th Office and Andrej Kuscer is its co-founder.
