Inflexion invests in Outdoor Plus
Inflexion Private Equity has made a minority investment in Outdoor Plus, a UK provider of digital advertising billboards.
The fresh capital will enable the business to proceed with the launch of newly secured advertising sites and convert its traditional billboards to digital.
Following the deal, Outdoor Plus appointed former Aegis Media Global Brands chief executive Nigel Sharrocks as non-executive chairperson.
Capital for the transaction was drawn from Partnership Capital Fund I, a £400m vehicle that held a final close in October 2014.
Inflexion has previously invested in the advertising space. Most recently it acquired a majority stake in Group IMD, a distributor of video advertising to broadcasters and online video platforms, from Vitruvian Partners in September 2016.
Company
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in London, Outdoor Plus is a provider of digital advertising billboards across the city. The company's clients include Jaguar, Google, Jimmy Choo and Samsung.
Outdoor Plus posted a turnover of £16.2m in 2015, with profits before tax of £701,000, according to publicly available records.
