MMC injects further £1.2m into StoryStream
MMC Ventures has invested ТЃ1.2m in portfolio company StoryStream, a UK-based content management platform developer.
The fresh funding will enable the company to invest in product development. It comes 16 months after the VC first invested in the business.
As part of the deal, StoryStream has appointed Janet Bastiman – who has previously held chief information officer and chief technology officer positions at SmartFocus, SnapRapid and Salon Software Solutions – as its chief science officer.
Previous funding
MMC led a £1.8m series-A funding round for StoryStream in April 2016.

Based in Brighton and founded in 2012, StoryStream is a content management platform developer. Its product enables companies to integrate social media channels into their websites for marketing purposes. StoryStream's clients include Coca-Cola, BMW and House of Fraser.
