
Spectrum injects €26m into Digital Marketing Institute
Spectrum Equity has invested €26m in Digital Marketing Institute, an Ireland-based provider of higher education and professional training courses in digital marketing.
The fresh capital will enable the company to pursue international expansion and invest in new certification programmes.
According to a statement, the business has experienced an average annual growth rate of 73% since 2014.
As part of the deal, Spectrum principal Adam Margolin and vice-president Parag Khandelwal will take a seat on the Digital Marketing Institute board of directors, while the company has also appointed Ted Weissberg, formerly CEO at the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, as executive chairperson.
