BGF invests £3.5m in Planixs
BGF has injected ТЃ3.5m into UK-headquartered data analytics software provider Planixs in exchange for a minority stake.
The fresh capital will enable the company to invest in international marketing activity, product development and recruitment. The company recently moved into new offices in Manchester in order to support its expansion.
BGF said in a statement that it invested £80m across 16 deals in the north-west of England throughout the course of 2018.
Company
Founded in 2011, Manchester-headquartered Planixs develops cloud-based data management software for the financial services industry. Its Graphite and Realiti platforms undertake data mining, statistical analysis and predictive modelling, and automate certain elements of the decision-making processes. The software is designed to facilitate risk management and reduce liquidity buffers.
Planixs's clients include Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays and Zenith Bank.
