
US investor JMI backs Irish software developer CoreHR
US private equity firm JMI Equity, alongside JMI Services, has invested in Cork-based CoreHR, a provider of enterprise software.
JMI Equity is a growth capital investor focused on software and services. JMI Services is the independently managed family investment company of John Moores.
The deal saw CoreHR's founders retain significant ownership of the company and, following the transaction, will remain actively involved in the business alongside the current management team.
The fresh capital will be used to support CoreHR's expansion in the UK, Ireland and other markets.
Company
Cork-based CoreHR provides cloud-based human capital management and payroll software for enterprises. Clients include Amgen, Arcadia, Net-A-Porter, Pfizer, Primark and the University of Oxford.
CoreHR was founded in 1982.
