
Inflexion carves out RSA division
Inflexion has carved out the Engineering Inspection and Consultancy division of RSA.
Following the deal, the newco will trade as British Engineering Services in the UK and as Irish Engineering Services in the Republic of Ireland.
The investment will support British Engineering Services' growth – both organic and acquisitive – and will also be used to hire more people and improve technology.

Headquartered in Manchester, British Engineering Services provides engineering testing, inspection and consultancy services with a focus on health and safety compliance. The business is accredited to perform statutory inspections on plants, equipment and installations. It also provides technical consultancy covering the key areas of pressure equipment, machinery, health and safety, certification and thermography.
The company employs 450 people.

Simon Turner is managing partner of Inflexion and the deal was led by Flor Kassai, Tim Smallbone and Edward Fraser. Stewart Kay is CEO of British Engineering Services.
