Isis backs Sage Construction MBO
Isis Equity Partners has backed the MBO of Sage Construction from software company Sage (UK) Ltd.
The business was renamed Eque2 as part of the buyout. Isis invested an undiclosed sum in Eque2 from the Baronsmead VCTs in order to back the spinoff.
Sage Construction has operated as a business unit within Sage UK's mid-market division during the last five years following Sage UK's acquisition of Tekton Group Ltd.

Based in Manchester, Farnham and Glasgow, Sage Construction is developing, implementing and supporting construction and contracting software for medium to large businesses.
Its products range includes Sage ERP EVision, Sage ERP Intuita, Sage Estimating, Sage Housebuilding, Sage 50 Construction and Sage 200 Construction.
People
Nick Holder, Pete Clarke and Mo Aneese led the deal on behalf of Isis. Wes Simmons is the general manager of Sage Construction and CEO of Eque2 Ltd. Brendan Flattery is the CEO of Sage for UK and Ireland.
