ISIS invests £5.2m in Pho
ISIS Equity Partners has committed to a ТЃ5.2m staged investment in independent UK-based Vietnamese street-food group Pho.
ISIS will draw funds from the Baronsmead VCTs. The funding will help managing owners Stephen and Juliette Wall develop and grow the business.
Company
The first restaurant in the Pho group opened in Clerkenwell in 2005. The chain now has seven sites across London and the South-East: Clerkenwell, Fitzrovia, Soho, Westfield Shepherds Bush, Westfield Stratford, Brighton and the recently opened Spitalfields restaurant.
Inspired by Vietnamese culture and cuisine, the restaurants' menus centre on the traditional dish of Pho noodle soup while the sites offer contemporary settings.
The business received funding from ETM Group proprietors Ed and Tom Martin in 2007. The pair will stay on board in an advisory role.
People
Benoit Broch led the deal for ISIS and will take a seat on the company's board.
